XPRESSRE-PRESENTMENTSM
 Electronic Check Re-presentment

Improves Cash Flow and Customer Service

Successful businesses focus on their core business.  Merchants no longer waste time calling customers about check problems because the service takes care of returns automatically.  XPRESSRE-PRESENTMENTSM  is an automated, consumer-friendly electronic process to collect returned checks for merchants.

Here’s how it works:

  1. When a customer's check is returned unpaid, the merchant’s bank mails us all their returned checks.  We convert them to an electronic funds transfer (EFT) that is processed through the ACH and electronically debit the customer's account.

  2. If the first re-presentment is returned unpaid, we try an additional time coinciding with standard paydays to increase clearing rates.

  3. Merchant is paid 100% of the face amount of the check upon collection.

We provide the merchant with the point-of-sale decal and customer acknowledgement tools needed to comply with applicable regulations.

The Haphazard Alternative

Without electronic check processing, merchants must rely on a relatively slow paper-based check clearing system to receive final payment or to be notified of a return.  And because banks do not time their representments, like we do, chances are there will still be insufficient funds when the check is represented.

On-Line Reporting

With XPRESSRE-PRESENTMENTSM, the status of all checks submitted for collection can be determined on-line via the Internet. With the information available, merchants will be better able to monitor the status of each check item, track funds owed to the merchant by XPRESSCHEXSM, and audit check acceptance procedures. The ability to monitor information omitted by the cashier provides them with valuable feedback that can enhance their loss-prevention program.
